II. The Burgers
Sear with a little bit of color in the middle which is impressive since the patties are thinner
Very tender patties
Tasted the meat seasoned. Mustard grilled
Cheesy goodness
How do you make it wagyu at this price?!
Messy in a juicy way.
Shredded lettuce but it didn’t dilute the burger so that’s nice
The onion jam came through with a nice sweetness to counter the meat and cheese
Nicely sized burger. The double is just right size
The bread was very nice. Had a nice chew to it.
Dk thinks it tasted like a gourmet version of the McDonald’s burger in a good way.
If you like sweeter pickles you’re in for the treat otherwise maybe not.
In between the patties had carmelized onions which was a pleasant surprise. Show’s a lot of thought when putting the burgers together.
III. The Fries/Sides
Fries – double fried?
Very potatoe-y. They were decent. Nice and salty.
Ketchup is solid.
IV. Miscellaneous
“Home made” style cola. Fancy soda. They don’t have regular coke. It’s cinnamon vanilla. Not our favorite.
Santa Monica public parking across the street. Or get lucky with street parking with meters.
Very friendly service. Order at the counter. Very chill vibe inside
Simple menu. Only two types of burgers
They’re very excited about the burgers which we appreciate.
They have alcohol. Beer and wine

We value it between $8-$9 and the avg rating is a solid 4.1
VI Verdict.
Great burger! Would definitely come back for a pre-burger before getting a better one at Pier Burger
